The intricate pattern on our hand-dyed Batik Bandana is crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia using a 700-year-old batik technique.
- This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color.
- This pattern is called Liris Hitam. Liris is from the word u dan liris in Indonesian language. It is a batik pattern created by Pakubuwono III, meaning light rain. The philosophy behind is that humans are expected to be ready to face life’s trials. In Indonesian dictionary, liris means emotional, soulful.
- Size: 21.5”x21.5”
- Made with 100% cotton fabric
- Material: soft lightweight cotton fabric, that is more typical of bandana. This is a different type of material than our original collection of thicker fabric, while still made of 100% cotton.
- Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments.
- This versatile bandana is perfect for adding a touch of style to your look—whether worn in your hair, on your tote bag handle, around your neck, wrist, or ankle.
- Also great bandana for your pet dog
