The intricate pattern on our hand-dyed Batik Bandana is crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia using a 700-year-old batik technique.
- This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color.
- This pattern is called Kotak ambal, which we named Apricot Patchwork
- Size: approximately 19.7”x18.9”. Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax and copper stamps in its creation, our bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square. This minor shrinkage is a natural part of the traditional batik process, adding to the uniqueness of each piece.
- Made with 100% cotton fabric
- Material: soft lightweight cotton fabric, that is more typical of bandana. This is a different type of material than our original collection of thicker fabric, while still made of 100% cotton.
- Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments.
- This versatile bandana is perfect for adding a touch of style to your look—whether worn in your hair, on your tote bag handle, around your neck, wrist, or ankle.
- Also great bandana for your pet dog
